To boil or not to boil?

Should Darjeeling be brewed with boiling water?  The instructions say it should, but it tastes slightly bitter to me.  Perhaps I should use ‘rumbling’ water, like green or white tea.  Answers on a postcard please…

    1. That’s what I thought, but it definitely has a bitter aftertaste that disappears when I use water just off the boil. Maybe it’s just me….
